The Boat That Was....

My boat (past tense) was a 28 foot Glasply 2881 Long Cabin. She was built in 1982 and I got her in 1988, she had only about 400 hours and had been decked out for fishing. I added many nice extras myself including all the deck chairs, more electronics and of course a stainless bar-b-que.

I spent many happy hours on it over the 7 years that I owned her.( I think it had about 1500+ hours on it when I sold it in 1995) I have many fond memories that I will never forget, some of my best days were out on her, bouncing around the Stait of Georgia through the San Juan and Gulf Islands. One time I went to Telegraph Harbour at the north end of Vancouver Island with my cat Patches, as first mate.
